A Night Out With Habitat!!

A Night Out With Habitat
Friday, May 16th
6:00 – 9:30 pm
The Palace Theatre
Albany, NY

On Friday, May 16 at the Palace Theater, Habitat for Humanity Capital District will celebrate our 25th anniversary at our first benefit event: A Night Out With Habitat.

We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments made possible by our donors, volunteers, partner families and staff. We are in the midst of a transformational time in Habitat’s history— we have more homes under construction than ever before and are engaged in creative and innovative partnerships to better serve our community. 25 years of experience in the community has proven that good housing is the foundation for a better future.

With the splendor of the Palace Theater as our backdrop on May 16, Habitat will premiere a mini-documentary that tells the story of one local family’s struggle to achieve the American Dream. Through the eyes of the Ufomba family, we will witness the challenges that lower-income households face in the Capital District. Every day, Habitat families tell us about the reality of life in our inner cities. Now you will have the chance to hear from one Habitat family directly, in their own voice. We hope you can join us for an evening of truth, celebration and support for our communities and the hardworking families who live and work in them.
