Public Input for City of Albany’s COVID-19 Relief Funds

In response to COVID-19, the City of Albany will receive an additional allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This allocation was authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), approved in March 2020. The funding requires that COVID-19 related services be provided to vulnerable Albany communities which have more low- to moderate-income residents.

Links to an online survey (deadline, Friday, March 19) where you can express your funding preferences can be found at the following sites. Please feel free to distribute these links to those in your circles and mailing lists who may be interested in filling out the survey.
