Risk Management

 

The Risk Management Department maintains all insurance related records and monitors activity including policy issuance, certificates of insurance, pre and post event loss control and coverage issues. All dwelling unit inspections are scheduled and conducted by department staff subject to Federal Housing Quality Standards for the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher programs and assistance is provided with HUD mandated REAC inspections.

It also coordinates resident safety education and performs investigations of personal injury, property, auto and workers compensation accidents or incidents.

Reminders
Please Note: Any appliances not required by HQS that are in the apartment must be operational for inspection to pass (Ex: Dishwasher, Range Hood, Etc.)
