Albany Housing Authority's
public housing program newsletter "The Public Speaker" features
a brief statement of upcoming events and items of interest
by Mayor Gerald Jennings and AHA Executive Director Steven
T. Longo. Resident accomplishments are frequently featured
as is an employee of the month. The Public Speaker is also
used to provide residents with important notices such as
the annual REAC inspections, Resident Assessment of Safety
and Security survey, lease and rental articles, and updates
to policies and programs. Residents are encouraged to submit
ideas for articles to AHA.
Albany Housing Authority's Voucher Program
Newsletter "PARTNERS" is published quarterly
each year. Articles are targeted towards both voucher participants
and property owners and management agents. Topics range
from rules and regulations to accomplishments of voucher
participants, free classes, homeownership and self-sufficiency
programs and much more.
